Laurent Vu

Born in 1977 in Nice on the French Riviera, Laurent Vu moved to Paris to study photography. He had an internship at the Harcourt studio and then at Sipa Press, where his studio photographs attracted attention. In 1998, immediately after completing his photography studies, he was hired as a staff photographer at Sipa Press.

The first months saw him covering various events, but he quickly returned to his specialty of choice, that is Studio photography. He is frequently sent abroad for photographic rendez-vous with television, film and music personalities. He enjoys photographing them as they go about their daily routines.

He excels in magazine coverage of showbiz events like the Cannes Film Festival or fashion shows. He also covered the Fifa world Cup, Olympic Games and UEFA euro for Sipa Press.
